First flash submitted! Yay...

Posted by ranma-kun7 - February 7th, 2008

I succeeded in submitting my first flash to Newgrounds today. If you haven't seen it, it's called DS Trouble. I like to thank all for their honest opinions and comments and for those who helped keep it alive.

I've gotten a lot of feedback on it and most of them included the following:
"The artwork needs to be smoothed out" or "The characters have a lot of wobbly lines."
and the most common that I've gotten: "The text was too fast for me to read."

I will gladly take note of these comments and be sure to use them in the production of DS Trouble Part 2. The artwork will be smoothed out, the animation will look more professional, and the text will be slowed down enough for everyone to read.

Of course hand-drawn animation is not my only specialty. I'll also put in a few video game-related flashes that uses game sprites and such for my animations. But, like DS Trouble part 2, it's gonna take some time and I haven't put much thought into that project other than DS Trouble numbah 2 yet. However, I HAVE gotten some ideas. But, that's another story for another time.

Again. Thank you all for taking the time to see my flash and giving me your honest opinions about it.

In closing, my new home desktop computer hasn't been set up yet, but I will get right on it as soon as I have the time. No word on flash programs and software yet either, but I will keep you informed on that progress. Thank you all and talk at y'all later.
